The invention relates to a device and a radiator (2) for tempering preforms. The radiator comprises at least an elongate housing (4) and conductive connections (7) which are mounted at the ends thereof and are effectively connected to insulators (5) that are provided with electrical terminals (6). Furthermore, the conductive connections (3) and the insulators (5) are effectively connected to each other in a removable fashion.
