The device has a light conducting pointer (4) with a shaft (3) that connects the pointer in a torque-proof manner, and a mini-top light emitting diode (LED) (10) connected with a plug connector (8) and attached to a light coupling surface (12). A cover (11) covers the shaft, the LED and the pointer in the area of the surface, and a support (5) for the cover and the LED is arranged at the shaft. The LED is connected with the connector over a partially flexibly film strip conductor (7) in such a manner that the conductor compensates a position change of the LED during a rotation of the shaft.
