<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify valves installed in the air system of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 10 comprises a supply path 206 which supplies air to a fuel cell 204, an exhaust path 208 for exhausting air from the fuel cell 204, and a bypass 210 for bypassing the air from the supply path 206 to the exhaust path 208. A three-way valve 14 is installed at the branching point of the supply path 206 and the bypass 210. A three-way valve 16 is installed at the branching point of the exhaust path 208 and the bypass path 210. The three-way valves 14 and 16 comprise a shutting mechanism for closing the supply path 206 and the exhaust path 208, and a pressure control mechanism for controlling flow rate of the supply path 206 and the exhaust path 208, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
