<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle device for a sliding door, which has a finger pinching preventing function, and which enables the heavy sliding door to be easily and naturally opened/closed. <P>SOLUTION: This handle device is equipped with a handle 2, a finger pinching preventing member 3, and a stopper 4 for the finger pinching preventing member. The handle, which can be tilted to the closing side of the sliding door from a predetermined standby position, is journaled on the sliding door 1 in such a manner as to return to the standby position when a person's hand is taken off the handle. The finger pinching preventing member protrudes to the door end side of the sliding door in such a manner as to be interlocked with the tilting of the handle to the closing side of the sliding door, and recedes when the handle is pushed in a receding direction in the state of being kept tilted to the closing side of the sliding door. The stopper restrains the receding finger pinching preventing member to a receding position, and restrains the finger pinching preventing member to a protruding position when the handle returns to the standby position in the case where the finger pinching preventing member protrudes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
