<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covering stripping device for a covered electric cable that prevents the occurrence of shakiness in between a held covered electric cables while preventing an exposed electric cable of the covered electric cable from being damaged, and also, is capable of surely stripping a covering of even a curved covered electric cable. <P>SOLUTION: The covering stripping device for a covered electric cable is provided with a holding member body 1 having one holder for the covered electric cable; a movable holding member 2 which has the other holder for holding the covered electric cable in cooperation with the one holding member, and is rotatable in a direction of bringing the other holder close to or apart from the one holder of the holding member body while being freely rotatably and pivotally supported by the holding member body 1; a covering stripping cutter 5 at the almost central part of the holding member body 1; and an operation means 6 for rotating the movable holding member 2. The device allows the covering stripping cutter 5 to strip the covering H in a state of holding the covered electric cable D while being rotated around the covered electric cable D. The device has an electric cable pressing means 10 provided at both sides of the covering stripping cutter 5 in the holding member body 1, and brought into contact with the covered electric cable D or the electric cable whose covering is stripped, when holding the covered electric cable D while being biased by an elastic member 12 in a direction of protruding toward the covered electric cable D. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
