PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic metal particle composite material used for stably manufacturing a more uniform carbon nano-structural body, and to provide a method for manufacturing the catalytic metal particle composite material. SOLUTION: Metal particles are dispersed in a film the main component of which is a noble metal, a part of the metal particles is exposed on one side surface of the film, and the other part is exposed on the other surface of the film.
