PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an efficiency for separating and concentrating an isotope is reduced when a mass of an element to be objected becomes large in a molecule laser isotope separation method which is caused by the fact a molecule vibration number becomes small when the mass of the object element becomes large. SOLUTION: In the high efficiency method for separation and concentration of a heavy element isotope based on a plurality of irradiations with pulse laser, a material gas is irradiated with the linearly light-polarized pulse laser, thereby, only the molecule directed in the same direction in the material gas is vibrated or electron-excited. It is further irradiated at one pulse or a plurality of pulses with the linearly light-polarized fitting to the molecular rotation period including the target isotope or a non-target isotope. Thereby, a photochemical reaction of the molecule including the target isotope or the non-target isotope is preferentially induced to perform separation and concentration.
