PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect killing rope having large insecticidal effect and persistency of the effect without causing stretch of the rope with time by own weight of the rope. SOLUTION: The insect killing rope has an insecticidal composition layer composed of dimethyldichlorovinyl phosphate or diethyldichlorovinyl phosphate and a thermoplastic resin around a core wire.
