PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tissue staining composition that can make the shape of the lumen surface of digestive canals clear in the visible light wavelength, and simultaneously have the function to emit fluorescence by the excitation with light of a specific wavelength, thus being suitable as biologically safe endoscopy. SOLUTION: This tissue staining composition for endoscope includes one or two or more kinds of pigments originating from Monascus microorganism, such as Monascus pilosus, Monascus anka, Monascus perpureus or the like.
