PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll stocker formed in multiple stages for stably storing rolls while improving the degree of utilizing a space by making an upper-stage roll storage part movable right and left and allowing a lower-stage rubbing roll to be easily removed, and to provide a method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display device using the same. SOLUTION: The roll stocker formed in at least two stages comprises a lower stage and an upper stage installed thereon with the lower stage as a base, the plurality of roll storage parts located on the upper and lower stages for storing the rubbing rolls, and a moving means installed between the upper and lower stages for moving the upper-stage roll storage part.
