PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for surely reducing friction between a body to be carried and a guide member in a carrying route having an arcuate curved part. SOLUTION: The external guide member 18 disposed on the outside of the curved part 17 of the paper conveying passage 23 comprises a guide member body 101 in which a recessed roller storage part 107 is provided, rotating rollers 126 to 128 in which a roller body is integrated with a shaft, and a guide cover 102 having shaft pivot parts 120 to 122 enabling parts of the roller bodies of the rotating rollers 126 to 128 to project from a first guide surface 100 and rotatably supporting the shafts of the rotating rollers 126 to 128 and disposed in the roller storage part 107 of the external guide member 101 so that the the axes of the rotating rollers 126 to 128 cross perpendicular to the carrying direction of recording paper.
