摘要 The invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to continuously variable-speed transmissions having a continuously variable transmission ratio between the speed of rotation of driven and drive shafts. Drive and driven discs of the variator provided with toroidal surfaces are embodied in the form of a set of rings (2, 3) which are connected to the drive (1) and driven (4) shafts by means of bars. A friction intermediate is embodied in the form of a ball (10) which is used for transmitting a movement from the rings (2) to the rings (3) and which rotates in a direction defined by the rings in a holder (5), which is rotatable about the main axis of the continuously variable-speed transmission. A mechanism for controlling the transmission ratio is embodied in the form of at least one spring (14) which resists to the ball holder rotation and is connected to the holder (5) or to a control gear (8) by one end thereof and to a body by the other end.
