摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording material for inkjet which has extremely high gloss/high ink absorption, excellent printing characteristics to dye ink, and mitigation in a sense of incongruity by a difference in glossiness between a printing part and a blank part when pigmented ink is printed, and excellent fretting resistance to the pigmented ink, and hardly allows a knurled roller mark to remain. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet recording material includes a porous ink accepting layer containing an inorganic fine particle of a specific particle diameter and a resin binder, and a surface layer substantially constituted of the organic fine particle of a specific particle diameter or the organic fine particle of a specific particle diameter and an inorganic fine particle of a specific particle diameter, formed on a support. Further, in this recording material, the ratio of the organic fine particle constituting the surface layer is at least 40 vol.%, the thickness of the surface layer is 200 nm or below, and the surface roughness (Ra) is 0.2 &mu;m or below.
