PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small ultrasonic probe having an improved maneuverability. SOLUTION: This small ultrasonic probe is provided with a probe head section 2a emitting ultrasonic waves to a diagnosis site and receiving the ultrasonic waves from the diagnosis site, a cable 3a transmitting/receiving electric signals from an ultrasonic diagnostic device body to the probe head section 2a, and adapters 9 and 10a engaged with the probe head section 2a at an end part and the cable 3a at its side and divided into the side of the probe head section 2a and the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus side.
