PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Wesco pump capable of preventing sliding loss and wear and improving pump performance by preventing the inclination of an impeller in a pump casing. SOLUTION: When the impeller 36 rotates, the impeller 36 is pressed by the fuel fed out of a central side to an outer peripheral side in a group 38b of channels formed in a discharge side casing 38 to generate lift in the impeller 36. The group 38b of channels in the vicinity (a region B) of a discharge port 50 having large difference in pressure between an upper face and a lower face of the impeller 36 are formed in a close interval manner, and the group 38b of channels in a part other than it (a region C) are formed in a coarse interval manner. Since large amount of fuel is fed out from the central side to the outer peripheral side in the region B in which intervals between channels are closely formed, difference in pressure between the upper face and the lower face of the impeller 36 is offset. Consequently, it is possible to suppress the inclination of the impeller 36 for a shaft, prevent sliding loss and wear, and improve pump performance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
