PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing structure of a wooden member, which can reinforce a load acting position of the wooden member, without deteriorating a texture inherent in the wooden member. SOLUTION: A slit 2 is formed along the longitudinal direction of the longitudinal wooden member 1; a reinforcing plate 3 is inserted and embedded into the slit 2; and a linear metallic jointing implement 4, which is composed of a plurality of tapping screws etc. passing through the side surface of the wooden member 1, is driven from the side surface of the wooden member 1 in such a manner as to be orthogonal to the reinforcing plate 3, so that the reinforcing plate 3 can be fixed into the wooden member 1.
