PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine with a tank effectively incorporated in a housing of the washing machine without enlarging the dimensions of the contour, capable of cleaning water stored in the tank and reusing the water. SOLUTION: The tank 4 is disposed inside the base housing 2a which constitutes a lower shell of the washing machine 1. A pump 33 for pumping out water inside the tank 4 and a selector valve 34 for switching the direction of water to be ejected from the pump 3 in four directions are integrated and disposed to the left in the front of the tank 4. Accordingly, the tank 4, the pump 33 for pumping out water in the tank 4 to be reused, etc. and the selector valve 34 can be effectively disposed inside the base housing 2a, and the washing machine 1 completed as a practical product can be provided.
