PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraocular lens insertion instrument manufactured inexpensively and capable of safely inserting a lens in the eyeball by gently pushing a plunger under any circumstances. SOLUTION: This intraocular lens insertion instrument 1 has a tubular body 3 passing an intraocular lens 2 and guiding it into the eyeball, the plunger 4 reciprocatingly stored in the body 3, pushing the intraocular lens 2 and releasing it in the eyeball, and a projection 5 having reduced rigidity on the side of the plunger 4.
