PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint piece of a flexible tube of an endoscope, which is capable of preventing the deformation from exceeding an elastic limit even if tongue pieces are largely deformed when inserting connecting shafts projectingly formed on the tongue pieces of the joint piece itself into through-holes formed in tongue pieces formed in an adjacent joint piece and connecting adjoining joint pieces in a preferable state. SOLUTION: A device is projectingly formed with pairs of tongue pieces 72, 72 and 73, 73 in the front/rear of a short tubular section 71 respectively, formed with through-holes 74 in the pair of tongue pieces 72 and 72 in one side, and projectingly formed with connecting shafts 75 to be inserted into the through-holes 74 of a joint piece 7 disposed adjacent to each other and rotatably fitted therein, in the pair of tongue pieces 73 and 73 in the other side; and cuts 77 cut in the side of the short tubular section 71 are formed at root parts of parts where the tongue pieces 72 and 72 (73 and 73) of the short tubular section 71 projects.
