<p>[PROBLEMS] To provide a protective cover preventing a pump head from being erroneously operated when the pump head is moved to the upper position and installable on a pump container even when it is moved to the lower position and the pump container using the protective cover. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] This protective cover comprises an upper wall (14) in which a rear opening (13) through which the pump head (5) and a cap (3) can be inserted is formed and covering the top surface of the pump head (5), a head holding part (15) extended downward from the edge of the upper wall (14) to cover the side face of the pump head (5), a cap holding part (16) extended from the lower end of the head holding part (15) to cover the side face of the cap (3), and a restriction wall (17) inwardly bent from the lower end of the cap holding part (16). Since the restriction wall (17) abuts on the top surface of the pedestal (10a) of a pump mechanism (4) when the pump head (5) is moved to the upper position, it can restrict the pushdown of the pump head (5). Since the restriction wall (17) is locked to the lower end edge of the cap (3) when the pump head (5) is moved to the lower position, the protective cover (6) can be installed even when the pump head is moved to the lower position.</p> |
