CATALYST DETERIORATION CONTROLLER FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst deterioration controller for an internal combustion engine, for suppressing a catalyst deterioration in high temperature by excellently decelerating a vehicle.

SOLUTION: When a catalyst device arranged in an engine exhaust system is at a temperature not less than a set temperature in decelerating the vehicle, a fuel cut is prohibited in the internal combustion engine and also an electric storage device 8 is charged by operating a first motor generator MG2 connected to a vehicle driving shaft 6 as a power generator.
