PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data erasure management method for easily and securely managing whether or not data erasure processing has been performed in a management object computer. SOLUTION: An erasure execution program 30B stored in an external storage medium 3 such as floppy disk, CD-ROM, etc. is executed in a management object terminal 2. After the data in a hard disk 21 of the management object terminal 2 is erased, erasure certification information readable from a management terminal 1 is issued from the management object terminal 2, by means of the erasure execution program 30B.
