PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cooling system for cooling sample cooling section of analyzer which excels in workability, its running cost is lower, and also precision of its cooling temperature is higher to reduce energy loss. SOLUTION: This is the cooling system for analyzer 10 provided with the sample cooling section (low-temperature trap device 30). It comprises a cylinder 55, a piston 53 reciprocably-arranged inside this cylinder to compartment expansion chamber 58, compressor 51 for compressing orifice gas, air inlet pipe for supplying the above compressed orifice gas to the above expansion chamber (propellant gas line 52), exhaust pipe for discharging the above orifice gas which is adiabatically-expanded to be decompressed by reciprocation of the above piston (low-pressure gas line 54), low-temperature section cooled by the above adiabatically-expanded low-temperature orifice gas (cooling stage 56), and gas supply line 28 which makes heat exchange of the sample coolant gas with the above low-temperature section to be cooled and then supplies the gas to the above sample cooling section.
