PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for tire, capable of improving high mileage, wet-grip performance and abrasion resistance of a tire in balanced state and provide a method for producing the rubber composition. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tire contains a rubber component, an aluminum silicate containing allophane and/or imogolite and silica and/or carbon black. The method for the production of the rubber composition for tire comprises a step to prepare an aqueous dispersion of the aluminum silicate, a step to prepare a wet blend by blending the aqueous dispersion with the rubber component, a step to prepare a master-batch containing the aluminum silicate by solidifying the wet blend, and a step to knead the master-batch containing the aluminum silicate with a compounding component containing silica and/or carbon black.
