PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic steering device with high vibration rigidity and good steering feel. SOLUTION: A lower steering shaft 32 has both left and right ends turnably and pivotally supported on both left and right ends of a lower column 1 by a lower bearing 42 and a needle bearing 43 as an intermediate bearing. Therefore, since an upper steering shaft 31 spline-engaged with the lower steering shaft 32 also has both left and right ends pivotally supported by an upper bearing 41 and the needle bearing 43, the vibration rigidity of the upper steering shaft 31 and the lower steering shaft 32 is high and bending is small.
