PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for supplying mold powder, which apparatus can sprinkle the mold powder in a wide casting mold from the tip end of swivel chutes without increasing the length of the chutes and without interfering with a temperature sensor and can be manufactured at a very low cost. SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for supplying the mold powder for continuous casting comprises a hopper 2 for storing the mold powder, a discharging device 3 for discharging the mold powder stored in the hopper, and swivel chutes 5 for sprinkling the discharged mold powder into the casting mold, wherein the tip end portions of the swivel chutes are composed of movable type tip end chutes 9 which are turnably connected to the swivel chutes at their one side ends, and are movable upward and downward at the other side ends.
