The generator (1) has sample generator units (5, 6) which are correlated with one another by a controller and with a corresponding program such that the spectrum of a summed signal with a range of determinable harmonics opposite to a Josephson waveform generator, is generated. A filter filters the harmonics in the generator. The generator is operated according to the principle of binary coding and the pulse-operation principle.
