<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate settings of kinds of paper sheets to be accepted or rejected when discriminating a paper sheet. <P>SOLUTION: When a determination control circuit 50 of a paper sheet discrimination device 10 is switched by a mode switching means 56 to a selection mode which selects the kind to receive or the kind to return among the kinds of paper sheets stored in an E<SP>2</SP>PROM60 beforehand, and when a changeover switch 43 is in a receiving mode, if the determination control circuit 50 determines the paper sheet whose optical feature or magnetic feature is detected by a paper sheet sensor 16 to be an authentic bill, after the E<SP>2</SP>PROM60 selects the paper sheet as the kind to receive and stores it, a conveying device 15 is reversed and the paper sheet is returned to an inlet 13. When the determination control circuit 50 is switched to a discrimination mode which determines the authenticity of paper sheet from the selection mode and the determination control circuit 50 determines a paper sheet as an authentic bill and to be received, the conveying device 15 is driven by the determination control circuit 50 and the paper sheet is moved to an outlet 14 of the paper sheet discrimination device 10 along a conveyance path 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
