DEVELOPING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING METHOD, PROCESS CARTRIDGE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of preventing circumstances, that a toner in a developer (toner) supply chamber becomes an excessively filled and failure such as toner blocking and torque up occurs, by providing an aperture part only at a limited spot in an axial direction so as to restrict toner supply amount to the developer supply chamber to proper amount; and to provide a process cartridge and an image forming apparatus to/from which the process cartridge can be attached/detached.

SOLUTION: In the developing device 4 developing an electrostatic latent image on a latent image carrier 2 by applying predetermined bias to a developer carrier 14, a developer stirring member 17 for feeding developer to an aperture part 18 is rotatably provided in a developer storing chamber 12 and is constituted so that the edge shape of a part 17B which passes through the vicinity of the aperture part is different from that of a part 17A which does not pass through the vicinity of the aperture part in the axial direction.
