TRANSMIT PROCESSING USING RECEIVER FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain alternative techniques for reducing complexity of a receiver and simplifying transmission/reception of data. SOLUTION: Data are to be transmitted in a code division multiple access communication system (cf., Fig). A channel response is provided as a channel response matrix H approximating a channel that the data will experience after transmission. The data are spread (14) and the spread data are processed (15) with the channel response matrix H. The spread and processed data are transmitted (18).
