PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a wearing article capable of reducing a manufacture cost. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the wearing article comprises: a process of dividing a compound sheet W into a first divided sheet W1 including a first side edge part W1s and a second divided sheet W2 including a second side edge part W2s by slitting it along a prescribed cutting line CL1; a process of changing the arrangement relation of the first and second divided sheets W1 and W2 so that the first and second side edge parts W1s and W2s are arranged between a first cutting part W1c along the cutting line CL1 on the first divided sheet W1 and a second cutting part W2c along the cutting line CL1 on the second divided sheet W2 and the first side edge part W1s and the second side edge part W2s face each other; and a process of arranging a core part C so that the core part C is put over the pair of divided sheets W1 and W2 whose arrangement relation is changed.
