Resources allocation method for use in e.g. wireless local area network, involves canceling network nodes with communication time point and with same category or adjusting category range to number in slots when free slots are not found

The method involves measuring resources allocation in network nodes (M0, M1, S0-S22) and communicating nodes with the neighbor nodes, where category of the neighbor nodes, slots (T0-T31) and a communication time point are stored during communication. A testing of whether same slots are assigned to the network nodes is made. The free slots are searched in a category range (K1) of the network nodes when the same slots are assigned. The network nodes are cancelled with the point and with the same category or the category range is adjusted to a number in the slots when free slots are not found. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a network comprising a number of network nodes (2) a computer program product with a program code for execution of a method of allocation of resources in a network.
