<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work tool which can easily write data into a data carrier, and can surely and quickly read the data without exposing the operator to a risk of infection. <P>SOLUTION: An attachment hole 3a is formed in the work tool 1. An RFID data carrier 51 which is made by covering an IC chip mounted body 52 formed by integrally connecting an IC chip 54 to a coil antenna 53 with ceramic cladding 55, 56 is inserted in the attachment hole 3a.
