<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common rail fuel injection system suppressing pressure fluctuation in an injector due to fuel injection by a simple means, providing injection characteristics of good response and enabling reduction of noxious exhaust gas from a diesel internal combustion engine without enlarging a common rail and a fuel injection pipe further. <P>SOLUTION: In the common rail fuel injection system provided with an injector provided for each cylinder of the diesel internal combustion engine, the common rail accumulating pressure of fuel supplied to the injector, a high pressure supply pump supplying high pressure fuel to the common rail , a fuel injection pipe communicating to the common rail and the injector, and a fuel supply pipe communicating to the common rail and the high pressure supply pump, communication between at least the injectors for adjacent cylinders is established by pipe and the pipe is used as an auxiliary pressure accumulation chamber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
