<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nano-crystalline soft magnetic alloy which has excellent AC magnetic properties, minimal variability, superior temporal stability at high temperature and excellent mass productivity even in the case where it is made of a wide-width amorphous alloy thin strip, to provide a magnetic core composed of the nano-crystalline soft magnetic alloy and also to provide an amorphous alloy thin strip for the nano-crystalline soft magnetic alloy. <P>SOLUTION: The amorphous alloy thin strip is characterized in that: the amorphous alloy has an alloy composition which is represented by Fe<SB>100-a-b-c-d</SB>M<SB>a</SB>Si<SB>b</SB>B<SB>c</SB>C<SB>d</SB>(atomic%) (wherein, M is at least one element selected from Ti, V, Zr, Nb, Mo, Hf, Ta and W; and the symbols (a), (b), (c) and (d) satisfy 0<a≤10, 0≤b≤20, 2≤c≤20 and 0<d≤2, respectively, and also the relationship of 9≤a+b+c+d≤35 is satisfied) and contains inevitable impurities; and a peak of C concentration, expressed in terms of SiO<SB>2</SB>, is present within the region between the surface of the amorphous alloy and a position at a depth of 2 to 20 nm from the surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
