<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas drying system having an integrated structure of the gas drier with current shortcomings solved. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus and a method for the gas drying system include a recuperator division having the first and second fluid passages, where the fluid flowing through the first fluid passage is communicated thermally with the second fluid flowing through the second passage. A cooled division having the third fluid passage is communicated through fluid with the first fluid passage to cool the flowing fluid further nearly to the dew point temperature. A moisture separator division is arranged between the recuperator and the cooled division to form a division of an integrated structure so that the separator comes in face contact with the recuperator and the cooled division. The separator has the fourth fluid passage communicated through fluid with the third and second fluid passages to remove condensed and entrained liquid from the flowing fluid before the fluid enters the second fluid passage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
