PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on a manager who sets an environment of a computer. SOLUTION: In a management server 100, when a server is connected to a network switch, a connection monitoring processing part 160b refers to a state management table 150b and determines whether the server is exchanged. When the connection monitoring processing part 160b determines that the server is exchanged, an environment-setting processing part 160d specifies an environment to be set to the server based on an environment management table 150d and server-position information (an IP address of a network switch and a number of a port to which the server is connected) and automatically sets the environment of the server.
