PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid filling device which is rapidly ready for the change of the net content amount as a container is changed without requiring any large design change from a conventional equipment. SOLUTION: The liquid filling device 1 comprises a filler bowl 2, a valve body 3 fixed to the filler bowl 2, a vent tube 6 with its lower end inserted in a container 10, a filling liquid passage 7 with a lower end thereof forming a spout of beer in the container 10, and a centering cup 4 having a packing part 21 abutted on a mouth of the container 10. A plurality of centering cups 4 are prepared in an exchangeable manner for each kind of the container 10. In each centering cup 4, the vertical dimension of the packing part 21 is set so that the position of a fore end of the vent tube 6 is agreed with the net content height of each container 10 in each container 10.
