PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery method of ammonia capable of recovering it in a reusable condition with high purity and recovery rate from waste water and recovering it irrespective of the kind of the waste water. SOLUTION: This recovery method has an ammonia stripping process in which ammonia and/or an ammonium ion is stripped from the waste water by suction under reduced pressure of the head space gas in the reactor 1 in which the waste water containing ammonia and/or an ammonium ion is introduced, and an ammonia liquefaction process in which the ammonia gas stripped in the ammonia striping process is liquefied. It is preferable that the head space gas is sucked to reduced pressure of not higher than 5 kPa in the ammonia stripping process. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
