PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying apparatus having a large carrying width for carrying large-sized works, in which the flatness of the carrying surface is maintained, easily electrically controllable, and operable even in a clean room with no dusting. SOLUTION: Constant velocity motion intervals are overlapped with each other by using two sets of carrying beams for walking beam operation to eliminate the friction thereof on a work and the vertical movement of the work. Additionally, the conveying apparatus are arranged in multiple rows to increase the carrying width. The conveying apparatuses are driven by a rotating prime mover via. mechanical elements for carrying heavy objects. Consequently, since the carrying flat surface can be accurately maintained, the conveyor can be easily electrically controlled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
