The catching device has a housing (1), two rods (4a, 4b) able to turn on it to stretch out a net (6) when unfolded, at least one spring (3) on one of the rod turning axes (8) sprung to exert an unfolding force, and a releasable locking mechanism (5) which keeps the rods locked in the housing. The release of the locking mechanism may be achieved electrically.
