<p>The present invention relates to an air filter and a method for manu¬ facturing such an air filter. The air filter comprises a filter frame (20) with passages for air, which is adapted to be attached inside a channel-shaped element (28), and a filter body, which comprises a plurality of curtains (19) of electrostatically chargeable fibres, which are attached to the filter frame (20) such that the filter body obtains an extension from the filter frame (20) to a position at a distance from and downstream the filter frame with respect to the intended flow direction of the air through the air filter. The air filter comprises attachment means (31 ) which is adapted to attach fibres in at least a peripheral portion of the filter body against a wall surface of the channel-shaped element (28).</p> |
