<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a plastic mixture in which polyvinyl chloride resin compositions and non-halogen burning retardant polyolefin resin compositions mixedly exist to be separated into kinds. <P>SOLUTION: In this sorting method for plastics, when the plastic mixture 1 is separated into kinds, the plastic mixture 1 is brought into contact with a super-critical carbon dioxide 8 at a temperature of 60 to 100°C, and a pressure of 7.4 to 10 MPa.
