PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens molding apparatus capable of extending the life of a die mold and highly efficiently manufacturing a lens at a low cost. SOLUTION: The lens molding apparatus 1 is a production device to continuously mold a lens A while conducting compression molding using each die mold 2 charged with pellets a and feeding, and is equipped with a preparation part 3 which takes out the lens A from the opened die mold 2, supplies the pellets a and close the die molds, a processing part 4 for heating, and cooling the mold 2 and conducting compression, and a pre-processing feed line 5 and a post-processing feed line 6 connecting between the preparation part 3 and the processing part 4. The preparation part 3, the pre-processing feed line 5, and the processing part 4 are provided in a chamber 7 where the inside is kept at inert gas atmosphere, and the post-processing feed line 6 is provided outside the chamber 7. A shutter 71c opened/closed in interlocking with the opening of the die mold 2 is provided at the position of the preparation part 3 of the chamber 7, and taking out of the lens A and the supply of the pellets a are performed from the shutter 71c.
