PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control rod (100) having a plurality of elongate members (200) for absorbing (250) neutrons in a nuclear reactor in order to control a nuclear reaction. SOLUTION: Each elongate member can be equipped with a cylindrical internal capsule (201) constituted so as to store a neutron absorbing material inside. The elongate member can be equipped with an absorber tube T enclosing the cylindrical internal capsule.
