MAGNETIC RECORDING METHOD AND MAGNETIC DISK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and densely record information in a magnetic recording medium having a high coercive force. SOLUTION: A magnetic recording method which performs the operation of recording information in the information recording medium having a high coercive force used for a hard disk of a high density recording device and reading the information by a magnetic head performs the recording or reading of the information by locally varying the temperature of a medium part equivalent to recording and reading of the information. By reducing the coercive force of a magnetic film of a high density recording medium to a level of a coercive force with which the information can be recorded by the magnetic head by heating by laser irradiation, the information is surely recorded.
