During or after a substance delivery process, a fastening element (FE) (4b) can be linked to a delivery element (DE) (6) so that the DE can be used no more for administering a dose after a delivery has been administered just once. The FE links to a toothed rack or a threaded rod (4). The DE is a button/turning knob, with which a dose to be delivered can be adjusted. An independent claim is also included for blocking an injection device.
