<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary lighting device for an aircraft cabin which needs hardly any space for fitting and can be fitted in a cabin wall or a rear side of the wall in a simple and safe method and has an excellent cost performance. <P>SOLUTION: The fiber optic device for a functional and decorative interior light is composed of at least one central light source and at least one fiber optical waveguide tube system provided with a plurality of optical waveguide tubes which guide a light from the light source to a lighting position. A plurality of the optical waveguide tubes are clubbed together at an incident side so that a light receiving face is formed to face the light source, and the optical waveguide tube has at least one bundle of glass fibers, and a plurality of light emitting ends of the glass fiber bundles forms a light emitting face, and the light emitting face is pre-formed as an spot lighting or a line lighting or a flat lighting.
