<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball which has, as a constituent element, an article molded under heat from a rubber composition highly superior in rebound and has remarkably excellent rebound as a whole. <P>SOLUTION: The golf ball has, as a constituent element, an article molded under heat from a rubber composition which includes: (a) a base rubber containing polybutadiene having a stress relaxation time (T<SB>80</SB>), as defined below, of at most 3.5, (b) an unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or a metal salt thereof, and (c) an organic peroxide. [stress relaxation time (T<SB>80</SB>)]: the time (in seconds) that is required, from the moment when rotor rotation is stopped immediately after measurement of the ML<SB>1+4</SB>(100°C) value (the Mooney viscosity measured at 100°C in accordance with ASTM D-1646-96), until the ML<SB>1+4</SB>value decreases 80%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
