COMMUNICATION CONTROL UNIT FOR VEHICLE, AND COMMUNICATION CONTROL SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication control unit for a vehicle for setting transmission timing to avoid a collision of periodic messages transmitted by respective ECUs in an in-vehicle bus LAN, and a communication control system for a vehicle equipped with the communication control unit for the vehicle.

SOLUTION: The communication control unit for the vehicle comprises: a transmission timing tabulation/setting/management part, which is connected to the in-vehicle bus LAN for mutually connecting a plurality of ECUs via an in-vehicle LAN network so as to mutually transmit and receive, receives transmission time of the periodic messages transmitted by the plurality of respective ECUs, tabulates the reception results, and sets/manages the transmission timing by adjusting so that the message transmitted by the respective ECUs may not overlap with time from a transmission starting point and a transmission ending point of the message transmitted by the other ECUs. The communication control unit for the vehicle is configured to transmit the message at the transmission timing set by the respective ECUs by transmitting the set transmission timing to the respective ECUs.
